Exeter CVS is one of 8 organisations in the UK which have been asked by the NCVO Workforce and Governance Hubs to pilot units of a new national qualification for Trustees within the voluntary and community sector (VCS).

The Units are all based on the National Occupational Standards for Trustees and Management Committee Members and are accredited by the National Open College Network. You can do 1, 2, 3 or all 4 units.
Please note units 2, 3 & 4 each cover 2 full days and all sessions must be attended to achieve the unit qualification.

Cost: As this is a pilot Exeter CVS are offering these units FREE of charge, however a charge will be made at the booking stage and reimbursed on successful achievement of the unit/s an individual chooses.

Exeter CVS will also pay a contribution to your travel costs of attending the units you choose. This will be 20p per mile for those travelling by car or half the cost of train/bus fares on submission of a valid ticket for the journey being claimed for.

Personal Study: As part of each of the units on this course there will be an element of personal study. You will be required to do additional work away from the taught sessions in order to achieve the unit certificate.
