The Devon Portal, offers access to a wide range of information and services from the local authorities of Devon. From here you can access information directly from the County, Unitary and District Councils, Devon & Cornwall Constabulary, Devon Fire & Rescue Service and Dartmoor National Park. You can also find community information provided by a small pilot of Devon Town and Parish Councils. Devonline is home to the Community Directory - local health and social care information for adults in Devon and Torbay, including social and leisure activities, Day Care, Lunch Clubs and Home Delivery Services.

Information about Devon. A really useful site with information about population statistics, poverty indicators, travel to work areas, Children's Services, and a lot of the data is downloadable directly into your spreadsheet. Invaluable for writing those funding bids.

The CCD is an independent charity offering advice and support to Devon's rural communities. Also produces 'Village Green' magasine.

The Hubs

The ChangeUp Hubs are partnerships of voluntary and community organisations who have come together to improve the support available to the voluntary and community sector across England. Visit the ChangeUp website for additional information.

The six national Hubs work closely with each other and with regional, sub-regional and local providers of support for the voluntary and community sector.

Each Hub has an accountable body.  The accountable body is responsible for the finanical management of the partnerships and reporting to Capacity Builders.  Capacity Builders is the funding agency for the six national Hubs.  Visit the Capacity Builders website.

Finance Hub

The Finance Hub provides a range of services to help the voluntary and community sector in the areas of procurement, fundraising, social enterprise and financial management.  The accountable body is the Charities Aid Foundation.  Visit the Finance Hub website.

Governance Hub

The Governance Hub provides services and resources to improve the quality of governance in the voluntary and community sector.  It campaigns to raise the profile of trusteeship and governance, explain its value and draw new people into involvement.  A key focus of the Hub is on strengthening the governance of medium sized and smaller organisations.  NCVO is the accountable body.  Visit the Governance Hub website.

ICT Hub

The ICT Hub provides a wide range of services, resources and information on all aspects of ICT for Voluntary and Community organisations, with an extensive 'knowldge base' of articles, suppliers lists and much more. It aims to raise awareness of the strategic benefits of ICT for Voluntary and Community Organisations, improve the ICT funding and procurement environment within which VCOs operate, build more relevant and appropriate models of ICT support accessible at a local level. The ICT Hub is a partnership of national voluntary and community organisations.  Visit the ICT Hub website.

Performance Hub

The Performance Hub works to help third sector organisations achieve more and meet their missions more effectively.  Charities Evaluation Services (CES) is the accountable body.  Visit the Performance Hub website.

Volunteering Hub

The Volunteering Hub's work is organised under the themes of strategy and management, information dissemination, good practice and management development, and modernising infrastructure.  Volunteering England is the accountable body.  Visit the Volunteering Hub website.

Workforce Hub

The Workforce Hub deals with learning and skills, employment practice, promoting the sector as a positive place to work and volunteer, leadership and management development. Its accountable body in England is NCVO.  Visit the Workforce Hub website.
