We support local voluntary and community activity here in the South Hams. With a thriving, vibrant and diverse area full of community action locally, this website has lots of useful information to help your group, or if you are seeking to become a volunteer, you can link to the national volunteering database to see what you can do, near to where you are.
We're celebrating our tenth anniversary of supporting groups this year, and coming up on 3rd October, we are pleased to announce that we will be holding a conference called Meeting the Challenge. Contact for further details. We also hope that you like the new logo too.

South Hams Council for Voluntary Service provides support and advice for local voluntary and community groups, organisations, and charities. For example, we can help you with setting up as a charity, provide one-to-one advice on funding, help with finding volunteers, provide low cost relevant training for your trustees, and more.
