Projects

DeVICE

DeVICE is a project to deliver small scale IT support and advice to voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) across Devon. The project aims to ensure that VCOs, large and small, have access to an effective means of supporting and developing their IT systems and skills. The project is based at COSMIC in Ottery St Mary, with Laura here at South Hams CVS taking a circuit rider role to support local groups. Contact us for more information about DeVICE.
More information can be found on the DeVICE website at - www.device.org.uk

Communities of Interest in Health

A wide-ranging survey was recently carried out of the health priorities of the voluntary and community sector across Devon. The report of this survey will be used to give both the statutory and voluntary sectors a clearer understanding of local health priorities. Follow this link to download the report in full.

Parent Carers' voice

For Families of Children with Special Needs

We are a group of parents or carers who all have children with special needs who meet regularly to discuss issues aimed at improving the services our children receive connected with health, education or social services.  Meetings are informal and held every two months and our views are then fed into the County Forum. There are Parent Carers' Voice groups operating in the Teignbridge area and another in the South hams and West Devon area. All are very welcome.
