introduction
South Hams Council For Voluntary Service (CVS) supports and represents
voluntary and community groups in the South Hams. This includes all types of group, whether social or environmental, large or small, well-established or just starting out. One of the main roles of South Hams CVS is to provide these groups with advice and information to help them flourish.
We also represent the voice of the voluntary sector in wider debates and act as a point of contact with local government and other agencies.
South Hams CVS was established in 1995. It is a registered charity and a full member of the National Association Of Councils For Voluntary Service (NACVS). It is also a member of the National Council For Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and Volunteering England (VE).
